The box assignment (68, 39, 40, 61 & M1007) was dispatched to 14 west 8th street in Marcus Hook for the building fire. Rescue 39 (D.A. Durbano) with a crew of 4 went responding. Fireboard advised Ladder 68 that the police were on scene with smoke showing. 68-14 (R. Croff) got on scene and confirmed that there was smoking showing and told the crew from the ladder to take a dry Chem. extinguisher to the basement for the heater fire. Crews from ladder 68 got a quick knock on the fire with hot spots in the duck work. Rescue 39's crew and 40 assisted with knocking the fire in the duck work and also with opening the windows on the second floor. 68 Command held it to units on location which was Ladder and Engine 68, Rescue 39, Rescue 40 and 100-7. 39 was off radio a little under an hour.
