Just after 4am the cover assignment was dispatched for Rescue 39 and Engine 68-1 to cover the city of Chester from station 81 while they operated on a 2 alarm vacant house fire in the 1000 block of W. 3rd St. While covering at sta. 81, Rescue 39 and Engine 68-1 were dispatched to 720 E. 20th St. for the automatic fire alarm. Also on the dispatch was Engine 12-1, Ladder 65 and Chester 11B (Capasso) who arrived on-scene and found a faulty alarm and recalled the assignment. Units covered the city for about 2 hours.
