The box assignment was dispatched for 3601 W. 9th St. in Trainer. Rescue 39 went responding minutes later under the command of Capt. Ladder 68 arrived soon after with Deputy 68 aboard and assuming the 9th St. Command and adding RIT 63 to the call. Interior command (Capt. Edwards) reported that there was an active fire in the electrical panel which was extinguished with the dry chem and burning debris on the concrete floor was extinguished with the can. Command notified fireboard to have Peco make the response and make it a priority. Command reported that he had about a block worth of wires on fire and arcing. Peco secured the power to the building and 39 crew extinguished the panel that was still smoldering while 68 crew opened up. Rescue 40's crew checked the other buildings on the property for any additional electrical problems with negative findings. Thank you to the crews who help restore R39 with the 5".
