The box assignment was dispatched to 908 Church St in Marcus Hook for the building fire. 68-7 went on scene and had smoke showing. Chief 68 (J. McClure) went on scene and confirmed a 3 story twin with smoke showing and fire from the rear of the building. Chief 68 established Church St command and added RIT 63. Command had Ladder 68 drop a supply line from 10th and Church and lead off with a 1 ¾ handline. Rescue 39 went on location and reported to the command post where Chief 68 had the crew assist the 68 crew with extinguishment of the kitchen fire, opening up and a primary search. Rescue 39 crew found a dog on the first floor with the rest of the building being all clear. The bulk of the fire was knocked within the first 10 minute mark. Crews were on scene for over an hour. Great job to Chief 68 for running his first Job as the Chief. Thanks to MHFD32.com for the photos
